Experience

Dr. Szachowicz earned his medical degree (with honors) from the University of Illinois at Chicago and a doctoral degree in philosophy from the University of Minnesota. After training for 5 years in otolaryngology and a year-long fellowship in facial plastic surgery, he founded Facial Plastic Surgery in 1994. His strong academic background, combined with more than 20 years of clinical experience, make Dr. Szachowicz one of the nation’s leading facial plastic surgeons.

At Facial Plastic Surgery, Dr. Szachowicz performs every major surgical procedure with his own skilled hands. In addition, he teaches future surgeons at the University of Minnesota Medical School, and he has made dozens dozens of radio and television appearances to discuss the latest trends, advancements, and issues in facial plastic surgery.

Dr. Szachowicz’s offices were recognized as Centers of Excellence by Allergan, Inc., the manufacturer of Botox Cosmetic National Education Faculty (NEF). As a member of the faculty, Dr. Szachowicz trains other physicians on the proper use of Botox for Cosmetic purposes. He annually attends meetings with other physicians from throughout the United States and Canada who are considered the best Botox Cosmetics physicians in their Countries. These meetings ensure that Dr. Szachowicz is one of the most educated and up-to-date physicians, knowing the latest and best uses of Botox Cosmetics.
